Thank you, thank you! Our 50th annual Waterloo/Cedar Falls Coin Show was a great success!! We had a total of 38 tables and we were busy all day long. Despite the efforts of our local government officials who seemed to have an issue with our club, it was our most successful show that anyone can remember. Thanks to all who helped with set up, tear down, and making sure that guests and dealers were well taken care of. Let's look to do even better next year.           

Everyone who was at the show probably knows that there was a problem with the signing used to promote the show. For some reason the cities of Waterloo and Cedar Falls decided that our signs were a menace to the public good and embarked on a vendetta to remove every one of our signs that Denny and I put out to advertise the show. When you drive around town and see all the signs that other businesses and groups have posted in public areas it boggles the mind that so many people would go out of their way to make sure our signs were removed. Emails have been sent to the Mayors of Waterloo and Cedar Falls as well as to some council members. We will be enlisting the help of club members to bring the message to these representatives that their actions were arbritrary and unfair and casts a bad light on the local government.
